WEEK 25: FROM 28/02/ 2022 to 04/ 03/ 2022 ENGLISH 3 Unit 15: Do you have any pets? Period 79 - Lesson 1 - Part 1, 2, 3 I. OBJECTIVES 1. Knowledge - By the end of the lesson, students will be able to learn and pratise the sentences patterns asking and answering about your pets. - Develop Ss speaking and listening skills. - Vocabulary: pets, cats, dogs, parrots, rabbits, goldfish, cute - Sentence patterns: Do you have any pets? Yes, I do. / No, I don’t. 2. Competences - Self- study, communication, co-operation and language 3. Qualities - Love their class, love their school things, united friend II. TEACHING AIDS - Flashcards for part1,2, soft book III. TEACHING PROCESSES Procedure Teacher’s activities and students’ activities 1. Warm up (2-3’) - Greeting and sing - Sing animal song 2. New lesson (25- 30’) Whole class- individual work- group work- pair 2.1: Look, listen and work repeat: Objective Listen and repeat the dialouge Input - Picture a, b: They are pupils They’re talking about two dogs Procedure + Call 1 S to talk the task 1 + Ask Ss to answer the questions: How many, Who, What, Where, When (Q &A technique) How many pictures are there? Who are they? What are they talking about? + Play CD the first time the dialouge. + Ask Ss to listen and repeat the dialogue. + Ask Ss to read in pair + Call some pairs to read aloud. Outcome Ss can listen and repeat the dialouge as correctly 2. 2. Point and say Whole class- individual work- group work- pair Object work Practise asking and anwering about pets which you have Input -Vocabulary: pets, cats, dogs, parrots, rabbits, goldfish, cute -Sentence patterns: Do you have any pets? Yes, I do. / No, I don’t. Procedure *Present sentence patterns: + Call 1 S to talk the task 2 + Ask Ss to look at the dialouge + Introduce sentence patterns: Do you have any pets? Yes, I do. / No, I don’t. + Ask Ss to repeat the sentence patterns. + Ask Ss to look at the pictures and repeat the toys - Ask Ss to practise SP with each picture (pair work). * Game: “Lucky number” Outcome Ss can ask and answer about the toys 2.3. Let’s talk Pair work Objective Practise asking and anwering about the toys Input - SP: Do you have any pets? Yes, I do. / No, I don’t. Procedure - Remind Ss the SP - Ask Ss to ask and anwer about house (pair work) - Call some pairs to talk aloud, other Ss comment Outcome - Ss can ask and answer about the toys 3. Consolidation(2- - Ask Ss to learn by heart the new words, new SP 3’) and prepare for the next lesson - Give comment of the period
